Buses run every hour to take you to Flachauwinkl and all the other ski resorts in the Ski Amadé region. An incredible 760 kilometres of slopes and 270 lifts with the latest technical features guarantee you an ideal day of skiing at the Ski Amadé.

Night skiing in Flachau

The Ski Amadé region around Flachau will provide you an opportunity to have fun skiing at night. The 1.5 km long floodlit ski slope at the Achter Jet offers you a special nighttime skiing experience.
Night skiing provides an ideal opportunity to relax and recharge after a busy day, or it can simply be more fun skiing for people who just can’t get enough. After a night ski outing, you will have an easy trip home to your very own doorstep at the Riverside Residence.
The floodlit slope in Flachau operates twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.

It has 260 km of well-groomed and immaculately kept cross-country trails. Along the way there are plenty of rest stops where you can have a snack when you get hungry.

Tobogganing fun for young and old

On your winter holiday at the Riverside Residence in beautiful Flachau you shouldn’t miss out on a hearty toboggan run. Tobogganing in Flachau in the land of Salzburg is an exciting experience for both young and old. Awaken your inner child with a traditional wooden sled ride down into the valley.
In Flachau there are three partially illuminated toboggan runs. From the Riverside Residence all three toboggan runs are accessible within just a few minutes.

Absolut Park Flachauwinkl – home of freestyle skiers and snowboarders

The Absolut Park has evolved in recent years into one of the largest and best known snow parks in Europe. It makes the heart of every snowboard enthusiast and freestyle skier in Flachauwinkl in Salzburg beat faster.

The entire park area extends over 1.5 km in length, is divided into 6 sections and is equipped with the most varied and diverse obstacles. The more than 100 obstacles are cared for daily by a professional maintenance crew to create ideal conditions. Whatever your level, whether beginner or pro, at Absolut Park you will find everything your freestyle heart desires.

One of the special attractions is the two-story CHILL HOUSE that houses the first ‘mini-ramp’ for skateboarders in the Alps, a video wall and relaxation area in the valley station of the 6 shuttle lines on the Shuttleberg in Flachauwinkl.

Therme Amadé – fun, spa facilities and relaxation

The Amadé Spa in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, in the neighbouring village of Flachau, is a special treat for young and old. Covering an area of about 30,000 square metres, you will find here everything from bathing fun to sheer relaxation. Everything your heart desires. 60% of the water areas are indoors, 40% are in the open air. The two large outdoor pools can be reached via a swimming canal from the inner area. The water is kept at a pleasantly warm temperature, and they are open throughout the year.

A wave pool will enhance your bathing experience in addition to a 25-metre lap pool for swimming, along with 1-metre and 3-metre diving boards. Lavish hot tubs with differing salt water concentrations will add the finishing touch to your bathing fun. The tunnel slide, ‘Black Hole’, takes you on a 50-metre-long journey in the dark.
